Lilnat you may well be right... however the ASX imo is like more conservative than the US indicies which will make immediate drastic movements on the slightest news. But imo the ASX tends to digest the news more, then make its movement. Either way the holiday on Monday is somewhat of a saver and as said the US could well ease back on Monday, just needs a few larger companies to report positive results, that might be just enough.
