So, can you explain a solution to the expensive housing dilemma, I live in a regional area, house prices have moved up here somewhat, 5 years ago ,they were below 350,000 for a decent house, different economic cycle.
I have yet to read a sensible solution to housing issue as it is a capital city issue as it has been since as long as I can recall , early 80's Sydney suburban prices.
Any sensible expanation usually involves releasing or rezoning land in the outer city reaches, however this doesn't seem to solve the issue for those expecting to be able to live near city centre. Council development costs also are a factor.
