Did you share your budget ideas with your kids ? I'm wondering how that went ?
Four kids with varying budgeting abilities. One very good at saving. Looking to buy another house. One a tradie that built his own family home and a holiday house. Likes to buy tools as I do. Also has one of those holes in the water that you pour money into, called a boat. One that is good at budgeting but is prone to spend windfalls spoiling her kids.
Another who lives the city life in Berlin where home ownership is not aspired to. Property owners tend to be from outside the city or from other countries while locals rent. Maybe Australia's future. Apartment living for city workers.
