The discussion was not about "long COVID" as such - it was about the damage done to organs as a result of the virus - and not the on-going virus infection (reservoirs were mentioned). That seems to have been missed (maybe on purpose) in the resulting excitement
Lot of extended family members have issues with their kidneys and I know that none of the treatments contain antivirals.
So, there seems to be a lot of confusion with relating the two streams of the discussion.
