Did the annual Pirtek fishing comp last weekend, usually got salt water at Bribie but 35klph winds had us turn at the boat ramp and come home, Sunday we went out to Maroon dam, hit a big wallaby 1klm from dam turnoff at 85klph and broke front guard on car, front and back right wheels and trailer wheel went over it and made the car jump, lucky we stayed on lane, pretty windy at the dam as well, must have came from every direction which was frustrating,we ended up with about 8 bass between 2, first time ive caught bass , nice country around Maroon dam, not far from NSW border, rocky mountains ect..
