I would think there are a few brick and mortar banks and credit unions running the numbers.
The issue I see for brick and mortar is that they likely dont want to international business.
ie would an Australian bank be interested in USA/UK/etc where they don't do credit checks conversely does a US bank want Australian/UK business
Basically it would have to be finance instituion that has ready capitol they can deploy at cost.
Not a far stretch to see Bendigo and Adelaide Bank or Bank of Queensland (BOQ) who owns Virgin Money Australia and ME, taking a look.
