PLS Vs AKE Retrace: Funny you should mention that. I too have been vacillating back and forth about whether they are both still on the same track at the moment. On the face of it they should be because there is nothing obvious that would say one should be finished while the other is still rising, but there have been times where it really looks like PLS is doing the big end of cycle correction and AKE is still getting to that spot. AKE has not retraced more than reasonable for it to still be in the upwards cycle, but PLS definitely looks to be doing a major correction, but then you have the last few days where PLS really seemed to be hitting bottom and AKE looks to still have space to fall. I think we really need to treat them as on the same wave pattern until we have a clear reason why they wouldn't be - so I think they must still be both doing the same correction. I have been explaining it to myself as PLS is China heavy while AKE is not, and thus there has been some little moderation to the fall for AKE. Of the two PLS has been most consistent with the US overnight lead and the most well behaved in terms of its channel adherence, and AKE had that recent early blowout to 14+ which PLS did not and so if anything AKE should be at end of cycle, not PLS.

Having said that we are coming into that part of the year where Li stocks pull back until mid June, so that is a perfect opportunity to complete the correction, but then we don't normally have this big a pull back in April, so it is all just a bit twisted this year.
