A lot of granitic gneisses, monzogranites, syenites. Most are claimed to be metamorphosed and deformed - also migmatites in the region which would support this claim. Appears to be claims of local mafic bands and enclaves. There's also the NW-SE striking dykes coming from the top left.
The large east-west rock units that covers the bottom 1/4 of each tenement zone is the Northern Foreland metagranites. It contains Archaean granites and greenstones intruded by Proterozoic granite and **bro. That there might be the reason. (Apparently I've been warned for saying a rock unit: Golf Alfa Bravo Bravo Romeo Oscar.
