I know you love the whole “it’s being manipulated” line (like so much of HotCopper does) but to me it just looks like nervous nellies selling out or reducing positions in advance of the quarterly.

If they’re that nervous to wait till this point to act, then the plus side is, they’ll probably bid it up again if the quarterly is strong.



VR1 have set clear revenue guidance ($17m - $19m) and were more or less halfway there as of 31/12 ($9m) however reading the most recent ‘TCV update’ I think they’re foreshadowing a weak third quarter, as the 5th dot point says “Company expects to accelerate its commercial activities during the fourth quarter, with significant commercial opportunities coming to fruition”. Reading between the lines this is akin to say, “Q3 was weaker than we liked, we hope/trust to make it all up in Q4”.

So, as usual, what some see as “manipulation” etc, I think has a very logical explanation. Tomorrow we will know!
