For my 2 bobs worth, I reckon this Strategic Investor Group has Roth Partners written all over it; be it some of their investors or the ROCLU SPAC #5.
I don't recall reading anything about the Directors shares no longer being in escrow, so for the Directors to raise that sort of coin to exercise their options would be massive. With Roth being fully aware of this, and them already having done roadshows in prep for the IPO, I can't see them just disappearing into the ether because the IPO didn't eventuate.
From the Directors point of view, surely they already have a strategic relationship with Roth, so why not place the options allocation with Roth and generate more cash in the process.
