They will need higher prices from Mt Catlin to make up for the low prices they receive for the poor quality carb from SA. To be fair Kyle, we don’t know the detail around their (AKE) existing off take customers and the formulas. As they don’t have a BMX platform, I would have a guess and say any unallocated spod has been snapped up by existing customers at a premium because they know that they will pay more at auction. This is why AKE were able to give a 5000 guidance. IMO the off take prices will be similar to that obtained by PLS. Hey, we could be in the shoes of SQM and ALB who are hampered by long term low priced contracts. I thought the webcast was very detailed and up front, even down to the $7 pt it cost in staff bonuses for attraction and retention. Doing all they can to get the extra production for auction.
