I think everytime theyve tried to even think about opening up this well, the pressure has kicked like a mule.
If the well head can't handle locking it in or it can... just,... but the liner or casing can't handle that locked in pressure ....your looking at deep-water horizon... Only on land.
We're talking jail time for gross negligence, ...i told them not to do it, but they wouldnt listen your honour..
The well design never contemplated such insane pressures.. At marti level anyway.
I wouldn't fancy being locked up in a Cuban prison or grabbing my ankles on White House lawn for polluting GOM, with 'didn't want to dissapoint shareholders' as my defence.
Nearly wiped bp out, may would be gone in a heartbeat, then the cries... Why didn't we wait 6months. Ap can't win with shareholders, so why try?
Losses on paper are just that, ffs the gains were on paper too. But a blowout would crystallise a total wipe out and is avoidable. So why risk it?
