Just an observation on the topic of increasing short positions there is nothing unusual when a stock breaks into blue sky that the shorts take a view that its overvalued just as the long investors take the view that it is undervalued both are having a punt about the future direction of the share price.

Having said that sometimes the BEOT know stuff that the retail  punters don't know so I wouldn't totally dismiss this exponential increase in the short sold interest that someone or group doesn't have a heads up on something as yet not disclosed to the market ?
