Our near neighbour, Greatland Gold has a market cap of AUD$959m based on today's exchange rate. Greatland Gold discovered Havieron and is now in a JV with Newcrest who has done most of the drilling and is now building a deep underground mine.
Greatland Market cap of A$959m is for just 25% of Havieron.
Havieron gold gets better with depth.
AZY hasn't yet started to look seriously at depth.
AZY market cap was A135m (before today's activity) for 100% of Minyari/WACA, plus the RIO jv which has over 2m oz of gold and heaps of copper and looking for more, plus the IGO JV, plus the NCM jv.
Interesting comparison methinks.
