I feel like all this talk about how much of the plant will be supplied by 'green energy' is a bit silly. Unless there is some sort of groovy deal where the plant is directly connected to a wind or solar, or any other type of green energy farm, then it will take its power from the grid like everything else. This is not a problem. I haven't done the calculations but I'm sure that the amount of CO2 emmitions they won't produce offsets the emotions it will take to run the plant.
Electricity grids are massive and complicated beasts. It will take very very long time before even half of the energy supplied on then is green. It's not fair to expect anyone company to be run off completely green energy, especially from the get go.
