The ASX is dominated by retail day traders. Over 250 000 new traders signed up over the last 2 years, thanks to the pandemic. The majority of these are pip traders. The only time you'll get sustained daily growth in price is when institutions are buying on market, which does occur from time to time, but not here presently.
