Hi Aarroonn, yes you're probably right there--I have only moved back here from Cairns/Sydney/Cairns a couple of months ago for a year or two (well that's the plan) after leaving in 1987 for career reasons, so my friends are fewer and much older (like 65-75 !) than back in the day.
They are I guess much more conservative and skeptical than I am it seems , but having said that I have been getting to know a few different people lately (including a geologist who's lived and still working here since the 70s-he;s a fan) ) so as I get back into the community more I'll no doubt find more HIO fans.
Interestingly the few graziers I know in the area here have all put a bit (or a lot) into HIO, and so yeah..watch this space I guess.
PS hope you are finding renovating here not too hard -I'm having difficulty finding tradies or suppliers for the same project -everybody's busy -so a good sign regardless. Cheers
