Exactly ! Just way wayyyy too unstable over there ! If it has happened before it can happen again. Either that or they hike up the taxes or some other ill conceived attack on a foreign company mining their land. The fact that it could even happen in the first place rules a line through any semblance of credibility. Best we get whatever we can and stay well away.
We have great prospects here in SA and all jokes aside, we have a friendly stable government. The payout could fund us all the way to production here, if carefully managed. It would be a Company maker.
The big problem will be getting them to actually pay if we get a favourable ruling. Trust me, it will be like getting blood from a stone. They have already said they don't have the ability or available funds to pay anywhere what we are asking... the games have not even fully started yet. Will be watching this with interest.
