I used the STAT as an example as a test that is applied for entrance into university. I am not suggesting the STAT be used as the test for teaching entrants
There are other test examples such as GAMSAT/UCAT that provide an example of an entrance level requirement for a certain course study.
The entrance requirement for school leavers is based on their ATAR score.
Setting an entrance testing would ensure a higher educational standard would be met for teaching graduates, considering how low the ATAR entrance requirements are
