They didn't actually specify what bonds but ok so you buy a 2 yr Eurozone Central Gov bond and get paid a whopping 0.37%!?
Whoopee! that is such an awesome return (even worse in AUD's -where shareholders costs are rising at north of 5-10% plus a year...)
Then you go sell that bond in Euros and convert back into AUDs when the AUD is 15% stronger?
Yippeeee!
(Remind me again why management thought it was a good idea and wanted to enter the European markets in the first place anyway? -Just MO)
