Yes, it's bizarre just how far removed from practical reality some people can be.
If Europe was able to de-risk its security situation, it would have done so a long time ago.
And to think that an entire continent can just sign a resolution and, Voila!, 6 months later the entire energy matrix is changed, and reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of just what is required.
It's taken decades to get to this position; to think it can simply be unwound in a matter of months, because some politicians jawbone about it (the same politicians who endorsed the current energy industry structure which gave rise to the crisis in the first place), is naive to an atrocious level.
