The situation on the ground is a slow grind - somewhat like ww1 with heavy fortified positions after years of preparation.
Lots or artillery action and precision weapons. Russia concentration on resupply routes this week will make life more difficult as its a bit harder to fight back when you run out of ammunition.
Ukraine having some success around Kharkiv but hardly going to end the war.
Id say Russia holding reserve ready for NATO entry but its hard to gauge, both sides claim massive losses on the other side and dont talk much about their own losses.
