Good morning Lakers,
Not sure whether you have seen this video which discusses DLE. Interestingly the interviewer states Chile and Argentina will not allow anymore solar ponds. That was the first time I heard about such restrictions in Lithium triangle.
What does that mean? Even current large lithium producers using ponds in those countries, if they are to expand, need to look at alternative extraction strategies. This is where DLE becomes very significant. If/When LILAC process/demo plant works in Kachi (which we would know within next few weeks and I am very confident of it’s success with probably minor tweaks), then that would change the perception and future of DLE and lithium extraction, especially LILAC & LKE.
