Interesting assessment. Very difficult to buy during a downtrend. Catch a falling knife? No thanks. Also I'm sure you have heard the simple adage 'the trend is your friend'. Well if the market is green then I would be happier buying in then. Timing is important, like don't leave your buying in a bullish rally for the 10th day or so.
