No need to apologise, mattshares (@mattshares), you are simply wrong once again. "I'm proud we put peoples health before money" (cue laughter)
Australian governments took decisions that have damaged people's health in so many ways, by the narrow focus on Covid. This is precisely the point. Lockdowns and border closures did more damage than good, and vaccines did next to nothing (and now seem to be doing damage - various official statistics are showing this). People died of so may other non-treated conditions. It is shameful.
Far more people have been damaged by Covid mismanagement than could ever have been damaged by Covid. Bad heath outcome.
We now have a massive debt. Bad financial outcome.
Australian's rights were trampled on. Bad outcome for society and trust in public institutions going forward.
It will be scary indeed if Australia actually has to face a real crisis in the future, health or otherwise.
But I guess you don't care, as long as you can go fishing.
