I am still interested to know the background between Joe Aston and Hamish - there has to be something.

Joe takes hating Magellan to a whole new level.

I am at a loss to know why Magellan would have implemented this scheme though. I understand aligning staff through share incentive schemes - but availing employees to leverage... horrible idea.

The long running spate of negative media attention does make me wonder whether Magellan is crossing over to the dreaded "AMP" territory. Where everything you do will be criticised regardless of its merits.

Ask any AMP holder and it's a seemingly impossible battle to turn around.

The only positive is everyone knows the AFR is less about facts, and more about being a tabloid.

The decision today to offload Guzman is a very wise choice.

I think Hamish will be keeping a low profile for a fair while - seems to be a long task list of winding back everything he implemented.
