One of their ministers has acted very stupidly and will probably be arrested for all of this. The deal will be null and void.

Here is the situation as I know it.

We own 75% of the mine.
The DRC owns 25% of the mine.

The minister in charge has sold (at a ridiculously low price) 15% to cominiere - who then sold it to Zijin - for a substantial mark-up. There are allegations of fraud at the highest levels over this.

That aside, we still own 75% NO MATTER WHAT. 75-24 = 51. That is the lowest we will be going as far as ownership is concerned.

People who continue to throw around insane numbers below 51% are lying to you. You only have to look at the snide and malicious remarks in their posts to understand they have an agenda of some kind.

However, I feel fairly positive that the 15% will be going back to the DRC who will then on-sell it to us for a fair price.

This is exactly the kind of shit they are trying to crack down on. None of it has any bearing on our 75%.
