The US is but 1 of 30 members of the Organisation as you probably know and all decisions in NATO are taken by consensus, which means that a decision can only be taken if every single Ally accepts it.

Then you go into the usual 'whataboutism' of completely disconnected, irrelevant to the topic under discussion events of the past and other tangents. The exchange began initially over my seeking elaboration of the reference you made in a earlier post when you said 'if this intrusion was on their borders' when I politely asked 'which intrusion and by whom' because I wasn't sure and which you didn't answer which then prompted me to send the info on the NATO/Russia Relations and various claims made by Putin/Russia and NATO's response to those claims which included references and clarification of various border issues and the facts.

Then you're into talking about (presumably) Putin embracing his closest enemy after that same closest enemy supported regime changes in a neighbouring country, opened up bio-lab research facilities and oversaw military exercises. Firstly it's none of Putin's business what happens in a independent state-nor the US, Ukraine or NATO was threatening him/Russia despite whatever nonsense he keeps telling everyone as he repeated again today in attempt to somehow justify his illegal invasion of a sovereign state. It's codswallop and always has been no matter how often he repeats it. Oh yeah the old biolab story again-seems to have died down a bit recently. There's biolabs everywhere. Oh yeah that's right these are the nasty ones aren't they. Where's the proof ? Still no evidence-you reckon Vlad The Great might be on the loudhailer by now if he had any evidence ?-he and his demolition team have certainly had a pretty good around Ukraine in the last 10 weeks or so in their adventure-maybe his demolition team vaporised them accidentally ?
Oh yeah military exercises..you mean like the ones Vlad The Great was having all around Ukraine's internationally recognised borders energetically assuring everyone repeatedly for weeks on end that he wouldn't invade Ukraine right up to day he did ? Again the issues of military exercises is in that stuff I sent you and had you read it you wouldn't (or shouldn't) have raised it because it's a non issue and his hysterical rants over them is more codswallop if you look at the facts. Speaking of facts in that direction did you know Putin's Russia has repeatedly not met their commitments, obligation and undertakings in that direction ? That's right. I thought not but you would have known if you'd read the material I sent you.
I don't address the questions ?? What questions ? You're the one making all these big claims but haven't substantiated any of them.

The US is the most aggressive and persuasive, and will also ignore the prevailing opinion as with Iraq. This desire to hide behind being defensive is a deflection.

Well once again you've failed to find a leader who would behave any differently. Ukraine is none of the business of the parade of US senators that agitated for political change in 2014. For you "illegality" is determined by what you do and don't support. I'm neither Russian or a Putin supporter, my interest is not watching the US war machine use Putin's long known about position on Ukraine to kick off a war they can't win and send many millions to their death. Putin is just one evil man in all this behaving like every provoked world leader in history has behaved before him. As I've said before, he may even be part of the plan - who knows?

The west is littered with evil that will financially benefit from war and leave Ukraine in an even bigger mess than ever. Commentators as far back as 2007 knew Putin's position, it just needed Biden's brand of aggressive lunacy to be in power for this to kick off again.
