Zijin add no value to the project. Remember their other major operation in country they paid $400m USD to secure a stake from Ivanhoe. Clearly the relationship between AVZ and Zijin is not good and Zijin is best out of the project all together. They have zero lithium mining experience which is it's own process whereas AVZ have spent $tens of millions hire experts to develop their plans to a world class level and in line with SDGs. AVZ would deliver a world class development whereas Zijin would deliver a hack Chinese mining operation or ride of the coat tails of AVZs standards while contributing zero which cannot be found by another party who AVZ would actually have a productive relationship with.
