Regarding your answer - I think we disagree fundamentally on the reason for the IDSB purchase. It makes sense to me for their stated longterm goals. While I bought into this on BNPL hype, actually looking at what they say they intend has kept me attached. I sympathise with your position (it seems like they gain little for quite a lot) but then, it's a lot of money to spend to appear to do nothing.
(Can you please link for me them stating they don't benefit from the AG code license? Surely, being part owner of the company, they can use the service for little to no charge?)
The general tone of their statements are very non-committal as you point out, but I think a lot of that is the knowledge they're taking fairly large risks to get their fingers into many pies that have yet to be baked. That's just my view of it, though, and why I'm not doom and gloom about it.
Please let me now clarify the question, because I realise now that I have not been precise enough.
What should they have done with the cash in the January-March quarter?
