generally the compounding chemist uses Elmiron (FDA approved tablet version of PPS). Elmiron is sold for to treat interstitial cystitis, but Oral formulations have been proven not to be as effective and SubQ. Unless you can get on the SAS program (your GP can apply and you would get Paradigm IPPS), a DR will prescribe Elmiron that the compounding chemist with make into injectible form. So you should get results but not necessarilly as good as if you were getiing the injectible form (ie IPPS) as it is not as pure. That said many people in this forum have received compounded Elmiron and the results have been great....
I dont know why but Im feeling like the story is starting to turn at last.
