For those that think this will be fast once inflation is under control here is something to think about in 2000 The Nasdaq composite reached $5068.42 it fell as low as $1384.00 in 2003. It did not reach 5000 again till 2015 when it hit 5218.86. Until you are invested during a couple of these thigs it is realy hard to appreciate what will happen. Historically they happen about every 6 to 7 years It has been 15 years since 2008. Many believe this will be lower in price and because it has been the longest bull run ever and largest % increase and time.

Here is an example to think about Amazon in 2000 had rapidly growing profits and revenue. Better than most DJI companies. 12/6 / 1999 it reached a high just over $120, Late October 2001 it was under $6.00 well below its FMV it did not go over $100.00 again till October 2009 people who waited for the bottom to pass and bought at $20.00 in early 2002 had the best annualized gain. with fairly low risk.

i was invested in Amzone got out too early at about $80. Startd shorting about $100. Got back in at 20 and still have some but have sold many to keep it below 10% of my holdings. Right now Lynas looks like it may be a repeat. Don't think lynas went up on optimism in 2018 they had profits of 53M aud and revenue of 374M in 2021 they had profits of 157M a gain of 228% and revenue of 498M a gain of about 33% yet the stock went from 1.88 in September 2018 to 7.54 in sept 2021 a gain of 300% So to figure out what is driving it down you have to first figure out what drove it up.
