ARM is the defacto industry standard processor for mobile devices.
If BRN want to provide edge learning capabilities on a smartphone, they pretty much need ARM to be on board. AKIDA doesn't take the place of a conventional CPU core cluster on a device, it augments it. That's why 2 of the the development kits (the raspberry pi and the PCIe board) have ARM processors on them.
So if we are ever going to see the likes of Apple, Samsung putting AKIDA in their mobile devices, ARM needs to be involved in the development process. They need to develop conventional cores that interface well with AKIDA, to produce an optimal product.
Being in a development partnership with them is a great validation of the technology.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an AKIDA chip in a Samsung or Apple mobile device next year. I think this year we might have missed the product development cycle.
