Thats a good question. It doesn't make any sense to side with Russia, but..

Why Chinese party is crushing their stocks and their economy with lock-downs, arrests, regulation etc?
Why Russia is doing what they`re doing,

For you or for me it`s completely irrational, but this is what an ideology does, or communism I should say.

I was born in one of the countries that were under the Eastern Bloc , so called Russian protection. Although I dont remember those times I have a fairly good understanding how it functions. We used to say Russia its not a country its a state of mind.

Indeed, Cuban government loves money but at the same time they hate US and the West even more.

This is the reason why its so difficult to assess the true value of the Chinese stocks, for example, and even the greatest investors stopped investing in that region and took big losses reducing their positions.

I`m still willing to take some calculated risk and hold AAU shares, but I think everyone should be aware they can loose almost everything if it comes to the worse. They were greater investors than we are that lost everything in Russia.
