thats true...good ideas come from the most unlikely source sometimes. We're all capable of good ideas, the trick is to harvest them and put them into practice. That's the problem with our current political system, good ideas take a back seat if they don't seem popular. Look at our tax system, how many decades have we heard it's badly in need of overhaul? Nobody's got the intestinal fortitude to tackle it because there's a chance it won't be liked. Look at Ken Henry's tax reform review from a decade ago, resulting in 139 recommendations for a better and fairer tax system. No more than 3 adopted. Too hard? or are they too scared to try and sell it to the masses?
