The MTJV is an agreement between the two companies (CNJ @ GSR). I tried to get a look at it some years ago but was unsuccessful.
As you know a JV is an agreement in that partners share costs and rewards in percentages, but they lend their assets to the JV to accommodate means to profit making.
When the JV agreement concludes the assets usually reside with the owner as no ownership transfer has ever occurred.
