The Law covenant served its purpose and was replaced with the new covenant.

(Galatians 3:24) So the Law became our guardian leading to Christ, so that we might be declared righteous through faith.

(Luke 22:20) Also, he did the same with the cup after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf.

Some may prefer to continue under the old covenant with its dietary and sacrificial laws, but it is not binding on Christ Jesus followers.
