A drab day, usual Monday

Yes, on a very good volume of just over 20m shares traded, we gained 1 pip to finish on 1.6c.

ASX U stocks were again looking for safety. Of the 19 stocks that I track, there was average decline of 1.5%.

We got a very good announcement today. Things are looking good for next few month. One of the reasons I have gone long on GTR is the Great Divide Basin, I will do a write up sometime.

What next - We started well and at one stage looked like a finish of 1.8c was on the cards, but all stocks retreated. It showed that the rally on Friday by US market is not accepted unless corroborated by further gains. At this stage dow is red. As I mentioned on weekend, many bear pundits feel that there is room to fall further, but most agree that a bulk of fall has happened and should not fall much from here. So we wait for dow/sp500. One indicator is usually bitcoin, that too has gone below 30k. Looks like another wild tonight. Don't know what will happen. As long is it is not a big red, it may be fine. A green would definetly give us impetus tomorrow. The rally that started in the morning but fizzled out may continue. Lets hope it turns out that way. All the best.
