Trent has given us market spot rates of helium ranging between $2,000 - $3,000 per mcf. Which gives our 13.4BCF of P50 helium a value of $26.8 billion - $40.2 billion (less the 12.5% royalty). This doesn't include a range of prospects including Voyager.
I can't imagine we will get spot rates anywhere near these figures but it does highlight the shortages that are clearly having an impact on the greater helium market.
I wonder when we will hear from Enterprise.
