Yes, I read about it a little while ago.

There is so much research going into various technologies that make greater use of energy and also just making devices more efficient. Going forward, we not only need to produce more electricity to reduce co2 emissions, we also need to make better use of the energy we have. There are several different versions of solar panels in the works that will harvest energy in multiple ways rather than just one like they do now.

Mostly, I don't bother posting it as the miserable old geriatric liars with no friends will just spam the thread to try and interrupt the conversation.

But seeing as we're talking about new tech, here's an interesting energy storage one. The numbers are pretty interesting.

Very interesting, gonna need a lot of tin, graphite and gallium arsenide. The costings are also interesting.
