    hope we close that $1.60 gap and build a big of a base here.
    Let's hope we close that $1.60 gap and build a big of a base here.

    If we get to $1.60, RAC might consider supporting the sp on market for say $6m, effectively buying back BG's shares. By raising the value of everyone's holding, this represents no 'spend' as such, and the cash used can be raised back later at higher sp.

    The overall result of this sequence would be:
    • No more BG 'drag factor' (which is far higher IMO than his actual selling %);
    • Instos on the sidelines decide to enter;
    • RAC ends up with the same amount of cash in the bank, and
    • Everyone owns a higher % of SOI than before.

    [As an aside, make of it what you will:
    The US officially 'only acts in its own interest' - as for example when withdrawing from an occupied country without notifying its allies (us) beforehand. This ideology perversely ignore the likelihood that the common interest is also their own interest. Aka shooting oneself in the foot].
