It is true that in the majority of cases, share consolidation does nothing but erode shareholder value, however it would be incorrect to suggest this will without doubt be the case here. There have been some success stories, both LT and ST. Sometimes, it is necessary to get to the next step, but I am not convinced it is required here as the trading is largely a product of management’s work over the past few years.
