Look, you might be right, the BFS might not be delayed.. Personally I'd just choose to err on the side of caution when this announcement could be fairly easily construed to imply that the opposite may be the case and that they're simply warning shareholders in advance so that when the time comes, they can at least refer back to this announcement and say, "look, we told you in May that there were likely to be delays to pit designs, etc".
And yes, full disclosure, I'm a fairly significant MGT holder. And I've worked in a professional role in the iron ore industry for the past 5 years.
