i'll put it to you this way.. we are deliberately miseducated to think in fiat terms, to value in fiat terms
in the late 1960's the average wage was 2 ounces of gold per week.. today its a half ounce and soon to be a lot less.. the masses have had a 75% wage cut in the past half century in real terms.

ask the average person on the street when did aussie house price peak
i'll say 2005 and its fallen in half since with a lot more to go.. most people will look at you like you have got two heads
but go look at a house price chart in ounces of gold
