Mercedes have just started offering their pouch batteries with more Silicon in them as an option at the moment and I think they become standard in 2025 to increase range. I believe the silicon content is between 10-20% which increases the battery density and uses less synthetic. Natural has a higher density than synthetic but takes longer to charge. Silicon will speed up the charge rate. How they deal with the expansion and heat issues will be interesting. To cool the battery will use more energy from the battery but they must think the trade off is worth it.

I can't see SYR exporting AAM to Europe once Vidalia is expanded to 45kt. It only accounts for ~15% of US demand and the US Govt will be keen to see it all used internally considering they helped fund the plant.

There was nothing in the AGM presentation in which we didn't already know. Verner might have expanded on it during question time.
