Open door for acceptance to NATO. Change the elected government in 2014. Russia warns US of serious consequences if NATO membership for Ukraine is not scrapped. US refuses to accept Russia’s security concerns. Russia starts the military intervention. The current situation in Ukraine began more than 15 years ago.

The current conflict may be called ‘ Ukrainian trap’ in 10 years time, when another interview is done by the US President National Security Adviser.
