yep agreed - I’m definitely not for a kneejerk fossil fuel shutdown, and I think there’s absolutely no chance of the far-left greens having anywhere near majority power in aus in near future so I think that’s safe, but the push and influence of that will be beneficial to keep moving forward in the energy sector. Not just from an enviro point of view (which is almost beside the point) but the world has agreed to go ‘green’ - so why wouldn’t we want to be on the front-foot of that tech? No one gets ahead with handmedowns or digging their heels in - any company these days pushing innovation are the ones getting the economic investment and benefits.

Anyway I’ve steered this convo too politically and I’m very politically sceptical like most aussies are these days.

Let’s hope the sentiment of the market is that the lithium storage sector is set to get a good kick out of the election results regardless.

edit - essentially what bythelight said covered it
