Morrison clearly was a drag.
The voters saw through saw the facetious pretence of Morrison
claiming he was serious about climate change.
Australians want action and want to participate in a renewables revolution
creating the industry of the future.
The mood of the nation has if we use the right wings definition of the left,
has definitely moved in the lefts direction.
Even Labor is considered a tad too far to the right and that's why voters are
moving away from the majors to the Greens and Independents.
The Liberals lost the seat of Boothby in SA for the first time in 70 years
and I heard this morning that Labor is in front in the SA seat of Sturt.
That Sturt is in play is amazing and if the liberals lose that they will not
hold one seat in Adelaide. What is happening there emphasises that trend
to the left whereby former Liberal voters are swinging to THE GREENS and
the Greens preferences will flow to Labor possibly giving them the seat.
The mug Liberal Party Machine had the opportunity when Malcolm Turnbull
was their leader to properly respond to issues such as climate change
and female equity, but they dumped him and went backwards from there. The
net result a Party disintegrating before our eyes. Even Josh Frydenberg there
hope to lead them to revival may be gone.
So if its left to Dutton there is no hope for the Party to renew itself in a
meaningful way. As Julie Bishop inferred last night that it would be a mistake
if the Liberals lurched more to the right.
Anyway all power to the Labor govt and to the Independents
who will serve to keep the govt accountable.
