Pigs, mate - some people just like a punt.
We both know it's not investing... it is just speculation. But at the end of the day, it's their money and they know the risks.
It's the same reason they will buy into the random altcoin... the same reason they flooded BNPL... and it's the same reason they will pump money into this.
The only reason I took offence to the Afterpay forum was due to people like polar who were flat out market manipulators and just downright crooks. They would throw out ridiculous price targets hoping someone would come along and double down.
This forum is different. All those investing aren't being flooded with BS price targets - essentially get rich quick posts. They are aware the company is a profitless mess, betting of crypto, taking on more and more debt.
Just let them be. Not worth the effort.
