@kingpins; since I don't have a 'side' I'm not crowing about anything. I readily admit though to being greatly relieved that Australians have cleansed our federal Parliament of Morrison's oppressive, divisive, fascist, wasteful, incompetent, scandal-ridden and deeply corrupt regime.

For the record; I again voted for Helen Haines and even sent her a congratulatory message. I wish every Australian had a politician as dedicated to serving their community, to actually caring for PEOPLE and as highly educated and well-informed as Haines.

What drives my comments on this forum are the issues confronting our future. They include Australian's right to a media that fearlessly and robustly reports 'the news', rather than one that censors, air-brushes and even works overtime to create news that delivers a foreign media mogul's political agenda.

On another thread I've demonstrated that this is NOT just my observations, it comes from highly experienced and now former Murdoch Mouthpieces such as Malcolm Farr - nor is he the only former News Corp journalist to publicly comment thus:

" The election outcome exposes a gaping disconnect between News Corp and voters "
"... At the centre of this extraordinary detachment of political coverage from reality are the Australian newspapers of News Corp, from the national daily the Australian to the popular tabloids in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide in particular. ...'
